Police are investigating a suspected arson attack after fire crews were called to deal with a car fire.

Crews attended Harrier Close in Elm Park on Monday just before midnight to deal with the blaze, which completely destroyed the Ford Galaxy vehicle.

Police believe petrol was used to accelerate the fire and are investigating it as arson.

Anyone who witnessed this vehicle being set on fire or has information should contact Havering Police on 101 quoting reference number 5408523/14.
