A man is sought by police in connection with a burglary at a charity shop.

The burglary was committed between 6pm Saturday, July 2 and 4.15pm on July 3.

Around £300 worth of damage was done to the rear door and CCTV footage overlooking the door caught the suspect walk up to the premises, climb onto the bin outside and place an empty box over the camera lens.

He was wearing a dark baseball cap with white writing on the top, grey hooded tracksuit top, black trousers and black and white trainers.

Police are keen to hear from anyone who may recognise the man shown in the footage.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact police via 101 quoting reference number 220286 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
