Police were called after an air rifle was believed to have been fired at an address in Harold Hill.

Hilldene Avenue was taped off last night (Wednesday, July 11) at around 10.20pm while police officers investigated reports that a gun had been fired.

A police spokesman said: “We attended an address yesterday. The initial report was that following a dispute a shot was fired at an address.

“On closer examination we discovered that somebody had a dispute and an air rifle was used.”

The investigation is still ongoing.
