Met office warns of heavy rainfall in Havering this afternoon

A forecast of heavy rain today (Fri) has caused a yellow weather warning to be issued for Havering.

The Met Office said warm, humid air over the region means rain could become very heavy between noon and 9pm.

More than 50mm could fall during the afternoon, according to forecasters.

Travel could be disrupted by standing water.
