Police are appealing for information after a man was injured when a large knife was thrown at a church window.

The incident took place around 6.45am on Sunday at the Celestial Church of Christ in Bridge Close, Romford.

A male teenager, aged 16-18, entered the premises and threw a kitchen knife at the window.

A 47-year-old man suffered a small cut to the wrist in the incident.

Anyone with information is asked to call Romford CID on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
