A former driving instructor from Kelvedon Hatch has been charged with 19 counts of indecent assault.

David Lee, 72, of Blackmore Road, has been charged with the historic offences that date between 1986 and 2002 on women aged 16 or over.

He has been released on police bail and will appear at Basildon Magistrates Court on July 10.
