A flood risk was removed after dumped lorry tyres were pulled out of a river last week.
The Environment Agency found the dumped tyres in the River Ingrebourne, RainhamThe 16 tyres were found behind Rainham station during a routine inspection of the River Ingrenourne by the Environment Agency on Wednesday.
Team leader Dan Johnson said: “We removed the tyres straight away as they were blocking the water course and posed a flood risk.”
