Driving under the influence of drugs lands Romford man, 19, £355 bill

Driving under the influence and while possessing drugs have landed a 19-year-old man with a £355 bill.
Ross Metcalfe, of Church Road, Harold Wood, was fined £200 for driving a Ford Fiesta on Bryant Avenue, Romford, while unfit to drive through drugs.
He was fined a further £50 for possessing cannabis during the incident in January.
Metcalfe pleaded guilty to both counts at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on March 24.
He was also disqualified for holding or obtaining a driving licence for 12 months and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £20 victim surcharge.
