Police want to speak to these men after vicious robbers threatened to kill a rail passenger - for the sake of just £10.
British Transport Police released these CCTV images yesterday (Monday). They believe the pair in the pictures hold information about the attack on Wednesday, January 9, which happened at about 9.30pm.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Jon Howlett said: “The victim, a 28-year-old from South Bermondsey, boarded a c2c train at Grays with two other men.
“One of the men then approached the victim on the train and threatened to kill him if he didn’t hand over his mobile phone.
“The two men also told him they had guns and knives, although nothing was shown.
“The victim refused to hand over his phone, but offered over a £10 note, which the two men snatched from his wallet. They then left the train as it arrived at Rainham station, before boarding a train headed for Grays.
“This was a frightening experience for the victim, and, although these types of incidents are rare on the rail network, we take them extremely seriously.
“I’d urge anyone who recognises the men to come forward and assist officers in the investigation.”
