Cranham’s Oglethorpe Players bring Dickens’ ‘A Christmas Carol’ to the stage

A drama group, which has performed Christmas shows for 35 years, has come together once again for its latest production.
The Oglethorpe Players, which are based in Cranham will present A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens.
The cast of 19 strong includes seven-year-old Bobby Rolfe in the role of Tiny Tim and 12-year-old Katie Croxall as Martha.
The rehearsals are underway for the opening night on December 9 and the whole team is working hard to prepare the festive show.
Director Gerry Sweeney said: “So many people have read the words of Charles Dickens and it is a joy and a treat to put some of them into action during our performance.”
The play will be performed on December 9 at 8pm and December 10 at 2.30pm and 7.30pm at the Vestry Hall in All Saints Church, Cranham.
