Assaulting a man, destroying his glasses, and damaging his neck chain and iPod, earned a 51-year-old a £695 bill and a three-month curfew.
John Channell, 51, of Southend Arterial Road, Hornchurch, assaulted Lee Millard by beating him in Station Road, Romford, on August 14, Barkingside magistrates heard.
Channell, who pleaded guilty to all charges, also damaged the items, worth a total of £550.
As well as remaining at home between 7pm and 6am daily until January 7, he was told to pay £550 compensation, a £60 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.
He was sentenced on September 23.
A 41-year-old man has been stabbed at an address in Harold Hill.
