Damaging a car window at Sainsbury’s Hornchurch, and using threats, abuse or insults to harass a woman, earned an 18-year-old Upminster man a bill for £245 and a community order.
George Young, of St Mary’s Lane, damaged the window and harassed the woman at the Billet Lane supermarket on June 18.
Barkingside Magistrates heard he intended to destroy or damage the window, or had been reckless as to whether it would be destroyed or damaged.
Young, who pleaded guilty, must pay £100 compensation, £85 costs and a £60 victim surcharge. He also has to attend appointments with a responsible officer until April 2015.
A 41-year-old man has been stabbed at an address in Harold Hill.
