A man who damaged the windscreen of a Mini must pay £230, a court ordered on Monday.
Jordan Dean, 24, of Laburnum Walk, Hornchurch, damaged the windscreen without lawful excuse, on May 5 in Ivy Walk, Dagenham.
Barkingside magistrates heard he intended to destroy or damage it, or was reckless as to whether it would be destroyed or damaged.
He was handed a conditional discharge, and must pay £130 compensation as well as £85 prosecution costs and a £15 victim surcharge.
In addition, he was given a restraining order, meaning he must not contact the vehicle’s owner, Chanelle Lasey-O’Brien, directly or indirectly, or go within 100 metres of the Ivy Walk address where he damaged the car.
Dean pleaded guilty.
