Driving in Romford without insurance earnt a 19-year-old man a court appearance and a bill for £215.
Christopher Appiah-Prempeh, of Wellington Drive, Dagenham, committed the offence in Main Road on July 17.
He pleaded guilty at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court, and was fined £110 on September 5.
Appiah-Prempeh must also pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Six penalty points were added to his driving licence.
A 41-year-old man has been stabbed at an address in Harold Hill.
