A 49-year-old woman who tried to claim £2,500 from an Upminster bank by posing as someone else has walked free from court.
Angela Wild, of Nye Bevan Estate, Clapton Park, was handed a 20-week prison sentence, suspended for two years. She must also pay an £80 victim surcharge.
Wild claimed to be account holder Urmila Patel at the Station Road branch of Halifax Bank on April 9.
She pleaded guilty to making a false representation intending to make a gain for herself.
Barkingside magistrates handed the sentence down on October 1. Wild was also placed under a curfew.
She must stay at home between 7pm and 7am daily.
A 41-year-old man has been stabbed at an address in Harold Hill.
