A construction lorry has been ensnared by overhanging trees in Nelson Road, Rainham.

The lorry was attempting to deliver structural panels to a building site when its load was captured by the branches this morning.

A witness said: “They failed to take into account the narrowness of the road and overhanging trees and hit a bit of a snag.”

No damage to property or vehicles was incurred but the lorry is stuck and currently blocking the road.
