A Collier Row woman is appealing for the safe return of a partially blind cat who went missing just four days after she took him in.

Jill Carson, 51, said fluffy grey and white tomcat Spencer “must have gone out of a window” in her Lowshoe Lane home overnight on September 22.

The cat is blind in one eye, which bulges. Jill said she had put “hundreds of leaflets” around the local area and that there had been sporadic sightings of the cat in the direction of Mawney Road.

Jill took Spencer in after his original owners, who lived in Epping, lost their home. He came with a dog.
