X Factor hopeful Lydia Lucy missed out on making it through to the judges’ houses this weekend.
The Collier Row singer made it to boot camp but on Saturday’s show she lost her place during a new twist to the show – musical chairs.
She was initially picked by girls’ category mentor Nicole Scherzinger, but was replaced after Abi Alton performed.
But despite this she treated shoppers in Romford to a performance on Saturday at The Brewery.
The shopping centre said she was greeted with a fantastic response from the audience and later met fans.
The Brewery said she was greeted with a fantastic response from the audience.
Mrs Charalambous said: “Lydia Lucy - the X Factor’s little star! She sang very well and was beautiful.
“Lydia was first discovered by the Brewery in 2009, when Lydia entered Brewery Search For a Star. On Saturday Lydia sang two great songs for her fans and handed out signed photographs.
“Whatever happens The Brewery wish Lydia all the success in the future.”
