A Collier Row photographer is taking part in a unique event this month.
Diane Brown will participate in the Great Big Halloween Portrait Marathon on the weekend of October 26 and 27.
The event raised almost £10,000 last year for bereaved children charity Winston’s Wish and it is hoped 2013’s Halloween theme will make it an even bigger success.
Diane, who will be tasked with taking as many pictures of people as possible across the weekend, said: “I am very excited to be a part of something that is running nationwide.
“There are over 40 other photographers around the country who are joining this mad event to raise money for such a fantastic cause.”
Diane, who hopes residents will take part in the event dressed in Halloween costumes, will be based at the North Romford Community Centre in Clockhouse lane, Collier Row, from 10am to 4pm on the Saturday.
She will take to Fairlop Waters, in Forest Road, Barkingside, from 12-5pm on the Sunday.
Visitors will need to donate £1 to have their picture taken.
Diane is looking for residents who may be able to help her out over the weekend.
