“I decided to start SwimMania because I enjoy teaching and I think swimming is such an important life-saving skill.
“I have years of experience teaching babies, children and adults to swim.
“We teach babies from just a few weeks old and we also have classes for those with additional needs.
“Our pools are extra warm so no one gets chilly, that’s why we can teach babies from just a few weeks old!
“All of the swimmers over three years old will have a helper present in their class as I find this really helps them progress.
“Everyone is awarded badges and certificates at the end of each course; even our little babies achieve their swim badges!
“Swimming is a great thing for anyone to do at any age. For babies it has been proven to strengthen the heart and lungs and improve muscle development. It’s also a great bonding activity.
“Swimming can support up to 90% of the body’s weight in the water, meaning that those with disabilities, injuries or illnesses such as arthiritis can take part in a comfortable and safe environment.
“It also means you gain a full-body workout.”
