A team of Aspire gymnasts walked away with 12 gold, four silver and five bronze medals at a recent competition  at Ispwich.

Aspire Gymnastics Academy is an artistic gymnastics club that is based at Central Park sports centre, Harold hill.

Aspire Gymnastics Academy is an artistic gymnastics club that is based at Central Park sports centre, Harold hill.

The club was formed in April 2006 and the gymnasts range from three years to 15 years old.

The most talented gymnasts are selected to be part of the Squad and will compete at a regional level which involves competing against gymnastics clubs in London and possibly progressing to compete at National level. The competitions involve performing routines on the vault, asymmetric bars, balance beam and floor.

Aspire gymastics Academy have previously had gymnasts who have represented Great Britain and England in various competitions and look forward to further gymnasts competing at National level in the near future.

Recreational gymnasts train between 1 and 4 hours a week on a tuesday and Thursday. They work towards British Gymnastics Nationalised Badge Scheme twice per year, compete in our friendly in-house competition and take part within the clubs Christmas Display.
