People paid their last respects on Wednesday after Shighi Rethishkumar, 37, and her twin daughters Neha and Niya, 13, were found strangled at their home in Juniper Court, off Grove Road, Chadwell Heath, on Tuesday, May 12.

Shighi, a Havering Council social worker, was found before her husband Rethishkumar Pullarkattil, 44, was found hanged in Woodford Reservoir, Walthamstow, the next morning.

The bodies of the family were flown to Thrissur in Kerala, India, where the funeral and cremation took place.
