Car crash damage to the wall in Barnfield Walk

A car smashed through this fence and damaged electricity boxes and a small sewage pumping station in Gidea Park.

The incident occurred on the morning of Sunday October 28 when the Silver Mercedes ploughed through the Barnfield Walk boundary.

Police arrested the driver at the scene on suspicion of drink driving, but he was subsequently let go without charge after his alcohol levels were tested.

No crime was recorded.
