Car overturns on ice on A127, Upminster

Emergency services were called out to a car believed to have overturned on ice this morning (Friday) in Upminster.

Fire fighters, police and ambulance services were called to the A127, near Hall Lane, at 5.40am where the Vauxhall Corsa had overturned.

An ambulance service spokesman said a man in his 20s was examined at the scene by but did not need hospital treatment.

Police closed part of the road and it was fully re-opened at 7am.
