Fire crews were called to a collision between a car and a lorry on the M25 this morning (Monday).
A woman was trapped in the car between junction 28 and 27 at 6.45 am and firefighters took an hour to cut her free.
Paramedics from the East of England Ambulance Service took the woman to Whipps Cross Hospital with minor injuries.
The husband of a police officer, who was left lying in a pool of blood after an unprovoked attack in a pub in Rainham, has said he has no memory of the beating.
