Wilkinson is offering a helping hand to the local community.
Team members at the store in The Bay Tree Centre, Brentwood, are offering to help community groups and charities in the area which need extra support with local projects.
The store is appealing to anyone who is passionate about their local community to get involved and apply for a donation.
They can apply for funds, Wilkinsons’ products or for staff to volunteer their time.
Store manager Tim Phillimore said: “The Helping Hands scheme is an initiative where funding is provided to support local projects, directly benefitting the lives of people who live and work close to the store.
“As a company, it’s great to be able to help local community groups and charities by giving something back to the area, whether it’s seeds to help a community garden bloom or paint for a local animal shelter, we are able to help.”
Application forms can be collected from the store and once completed, forms should be returned to the store’s help desk. Successful applicants will be notified within three months of submission.
