Brentwood card shop owner dies in storm accident

11:15 26 February 2014

The owner of a Brentwood card shop died in an accident during the recent storms.

A shed collapsed on Mandy Fowell, 49, owner of Bizara Cards, at her Abridge home during the rough weather.

Tributes have lined up to the owner of the Crown Street shop which is run by her daughter and former TOWIE star Peri Sinclair.

Other shop owners have teamed up to raise funds to have a memorial plaque placed outside her shop.

A statement from the Crown Street traders said: “Ever since Mandy came here with the shop, about two years ago, she was totally supportive of Crown Street and 100 per cent behind anything we did to promote the street.

“The ideas she had and the way she made them happen were unique and this is a tragic loss.”

Her funeral will take place tomorrow.

To pay you tributes to Mrs Fowell please contact Sam on 0208 477 3892 or email sam.blewett@archant.co.uk
