A two-year-old boy was among three people taken to hospital following a gas leak yesterday morning.

Ambulance crews treated the boy along with a woman in her 20s and a man, whose age is not known, before taking them to Whipps Cross Hospital, Leytonstone.

Emergency services were called to the scene in Mungo Park Road, Rainham, at about 2.45am yesterday.
