Mark Diamond, from Elm Park, had piled on the pounds as he recovered from surgery for a detached retina in March last year.

He turned to Weight Watchers when he realised he weighed the most he had ever done. And now just over seven months later he is the lightest he has been in 15 years.

He is so inspired by his own journey, he has now become a Weight Watchers coach.

Mark said: “I’m hoping that I can attract more male members to join Weight Watchers.

“The plan is a fantastic diet for the everyday lifestyle. Your daily points allowance is entirely yours to use on what you want, and the weekly points are there to help you cope with the occasional meal out or family gathering.”
