Sixteen members of the Friends of Ingrebourne Valley and Hornchurch Country Park working group were out and about in the cold weather to help spruce up the area.

The Friends group, which formed last year, has been working with council staff Carlos Iszak and Katy Haines to improve the park.

Spokesman Bob Rand said: “All who attended had a most enjoyable and productive time and once again the weather was extremely kind.”

The next working party will be on Sunday, February 3. To find out more or get involved, visit http://www.ingrebournevalleyfriends.org/ or call 07933 172921.
