Sean Sears, 26 has raised more than £500 for the Havering-atte-Bower hospice by creating a video animation sequence with a twist.

Sean from Chadwell Heath, who has worked on animation sequences for TV shows like Horrible Histories and Deal Or No Deal has teamed with designer Daniel Marks, 27 to create the animation.

The script for the animation is being written by members of the public who are donating money to the hospice per line of the story that they compose.

The donors will then recieve a writer’s credit and see their section of the story animated in the final film.

Sean and Daniel are then set to create the animated film, which they are aiming to keep around five minutes or less so it will be suitable for easy viewing.

Sean said: “People who have already donated via our Just Giving page are already trying to stitch us up by introducing characters and people they think will be tricky to design which we think is great.

“We are both horror movie fans so some suggestions of characters from horror films to go along with Richard Gere and Jeff Goldblum who already feature would be really welcome.”

Sean was inspired to create the animation after his mother, Anita Sears was cared for by St Francis Hospice last year.

Sean said: “The hospice supports families that need them the most and we wanted to try and raise some cash for a smaller charity that’s close to home.”
