A man has been stabbed during a fight in Rainham this afternoon (Friday, January 12) that ended with London’s air ambulance being called.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman confirmed officers were called to Queenstown Gardens at 1.22pm by the London Ambulance Service to reports of a fight that had ended in a stabbing.

A man believed to be in his 20s was found at the scene suffering a stab wound.

He was taken to hospital - his condition is not believed to be life threatening.

There have been no arrests; enquiries continue.
