Children at a Hornchurch school have been rewarded for their school work with football tickets.
The Albany School, said it is part of a new scheme to commend them for their dedication and perseverance in school.
James Minton, in Year 11, and Lexus Polley, in Year 7, were given tickets last week to see The Daggers play Bristol Rovers.
James said: “I’m a Dagenham fan so it’s a great opportunity to see a game for free.”
Gary Wimbush, assistant headteacher at the school, said: “We are always looking for different ways of rewarding the boys and girls.
“We already have close links with the club so it made sense to offer tickets. It is proving to be very popular.”
