Children and teachers took a step back in time for a history lesson on Tuesday.
Those from Harold Court Primary School, in Church Road, Harold Wood, dressed up as Romans, royalty, in Egyptian costumes and children through the ages.
It was for a project about history and to learn about important historical figures.
Headteacher Matthew Dineen, who was dressed as Julius Caesar for the day, said: “Today is a great example of how a magical atmosphere has been created by staff and parents.
“This has been a truly wonderful day discovering the past together.”
Deputy headteacher Lynn Hogan-O’Neill added: “The new headteacher’s aim is moving forward together striving for excellence. All parents and staff are displaying superb support in reaching this aim.”
