A school has bid farewell to its headteacher and deputy head who are both retiring this term.

Sarah Wilson has been at Brentwood Pre-Prep for 10 years, while Lynn Osborne has been at the school for 18.

Mrs Osborne said her appointment as deputy was an “amazing opportunity”, and 18 years on the school had developed, matured and thrived.

She said: “It has been a privilege to be a part of the lives of so many children and to have helped them flourish into well-rounded, confident and happy children.”

Headteacher, Mrs Wilson, said that working at the school has given her “endless joy” after having spent “ten wonderful years working in partnership with an outstanding team of colleagues.

She added: “I gain great satisfaction and pleasure being with the children of Brentwood Pre-Preparatory, listening to their chat and watching them develop each year. I have been very fortunate to be the headmistress.”
