£600 of cigarettes stolen from Harold Wood newsagent

Crooks smashed their way into a newsagents and stole £600 worth of cigarettes.

The break-in happened at the Station Road Tuck Shop near Harold Wood station just after 1.30am on Tuesday (January 29). The burglars got into the store by climbing a ladder and breaking a first-floor window.

Anyone with information should contact Romford CID on 101 or phone Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
