The weather is set to be wet and windy this weekend as we head nearer to the end of 2023.

Flood warnings are in place across England and, while floods are not predicted to hit south east London, heavy rain and cold weather is forecasted to hit the city.

According to the Met Office, the weather will be windy with persistent rain this morning (Saturday, November 18).

Some brightness will develop this afternoon but it will remain cloudy with rain until dusk.

The maximum temperature today will be 15 degrees.

Sunday is also predicted by the Met Office to be windy with sunny spells and blustery showers.

However, next week should be drier with the wind easing.
