A man has pleaded guilty to grievous bodily harm and common assault after another man suffered head injuries and a broken nose.
Brendan Saunders, 26, of Woodbridge Lane in Romford appeared at Barkingside Magistrates' Court on September 5 where he admitted to the two offences.
Saunders will be sentenced at Snaresbrook Crown Court on September 26 and is on bail until then, the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) and Met Police confirmed today (September 14).
The CPS added that both offences were committed on September 2.

This comes after police found an unresponsive man on Western Road in Romford at around 3.15am that day while dealing with an unrelated matter.
A man, 21, was taken to hospital suffering a broken nose and head injuries.
The AA reported that a "emergency services incident" had closed Western Road in both directions betweet South Street and Mercury Gardens.
