A teenager has been rushed to hospital after a high street stabbing.

Emergency services were called to High Street in Hornchurch in the early hours of this morning (February 18) at about 1.45am.

A boy, 19, was found with stab injuries and taken to hospital for treatment.

According to Metropolitan Police, his injury is not believed to be life-threatening.

Another 19-year-old was also treated for facial injuries.

There have been no arrests at the moment and enquiries into the stabbing continue.

Throughout the day a cordon has been place near the junction of Station Road.

There appears to be heavy traffic in the area stretching to Station Road due to the cordon.
