An Elm Park primary school teacher and her dance group failed to make it to the finals of Britain’s Got Talent, after they performed in last night’s semi final.
Danielle Rowe, 27, from Hornchurch, who is part of line dancing group Countryvive, did not make it through to the next round of the nationwide talent contest.
She said: “We have had so much support from everyone and it has been a really great experience.”
Danielle, who works at St Alban’s Catholic Primary School, in Heron Flight Avenue, Elm Park, danced alongside her group last night and despite receiving positive comments, from three of the judges, Simon Cowell was not impressed.
She said: “We disagree with Simon’s comments completely as if you look back at our audition, it was a lot messier so we are all very proud of ourselves.
“We will continue to make routines and will prepare for the world championships later this year.
“We’re not sure if we’re going to audition for the show next year as it was really exhausting but we’ll just have to wait and see.”
