Scott Parker started for Tottenham on his first appearance at Upton Park since leaving West Ham.
Jan Vertonghen lined up at left-back, while Michael Dawson, Steven Caulker and Hugo Lloris all came in after being left out of Spurs’ draw at Lyon.
James Collins made his first West Ham start since January 12, but there was no place in the Hammers team for midfielder Mark Noble.
