Gary Smith admitted that he is an Arsenal fan

Stevenage manager Gary Smith has an extra motivation to beat Tottenham, after admitting he has Arsenal leanings.
The 43-year-old was appointed as manager of the League One club on January 25, replacing Preston-bound Graham Westley.
“I certainly lean towards the Arsenal side of north London, but I am very respectful of how this Spurs team has evolved over the last two or three years since Harry Redknapp has been in charge,” he said.
“Spurs are 10 points clear of Arsenal so you would have to say there has been a slight shift this year.”
Smith is hopeful that the Boro can pull off a cup upset against Spurs but believes it must happen at Broadhall Way.
“Upsets are a big part of the FA Cup,” Smith added.
“It could happen and if we are going to have a chance, the best possible opportunity is going to come here at home.”
Smith is full of admiration for Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, who praised the Englishman ahead of the Colorado Rapids’ MLS Cup win two years ago.
“Arsene was very gracious in the build up to the MLS Cup final in and I have always remembered that. That was very kind of him,” Smith added.
“Some of the kind things that he said about me and the personal message I got off him was great. Maybe he’ll get in touch if we win on Sunday.”
