Urchins boss Jimmy McFarlane will be hoping to end the hoodoo Hendon have over them when the two sides meet today.
Hornchurch have won just two of the 12 outings against the Greens dating back to the first meeting in 2003/04, with their last victory coming at their then Claremont Road home back in 2009.
And having already buried their midweek hatchet this season, McFarlane hopes to put this bad run to an end when he takes on Gary McCann’s side.
“They have been a bogey side,” he said. “They came here when we were promotion and nicked a win, they did the same the year before.
“We went down there, played ever so well one bank holiday and they nicked a win. We’ve put a few ghost to bed this year, the Tuesday night hoodoo and a few things and I’ll be looking to do the same on Saturday.”
