Team news – Dagenham & Redbridge v Oxford United
The 19-year-old joined on Thursday from Premier League side West Ham United until the end of the season in a like-for-like replacement for Zavon Hines, who is out for the remainder of the season having had surgery on a knee injury.
The hosts will be looking for their first win at Victoria Road since New Year’s Day, and they continue to be without top goalscorer Rhys Murphy.
The 13-goal striker is back training following a lay off with a groin injury, but it is thought the game has come too soon for the former Arsenal youngster, while defender Luke Wilkinson could return to the matchday squad after his recovery from the ankle injury picked up in the 2-1 win at Bristol Rovers on March 11.
Oxford United will be without the influential defender Johnny Mullins who has been ruled out for the remainder of the season with a metartasal injury, while new manager Gary Waddock will also be without Tom Newey as he serves the final match of a three-game ban for his sending off in the 3-0 loss to Chesterfield on March 15.
Dave Kitson, who scored the winner when the two teams met at the Kassam Stadium on December 14, has returned to training following a hamstring injury, but is not yet ready to be included.
