Midfielder Billy Bingham is pushing for a recall to the starting XI after playing the full 90 minutes in a development team game against Barnet on Tuesday, while the game was useful for several other squad members.
Bingham has fully recovered from a knee injury picked up at AFC Wimbledon back in November, while the likes of Brian Saah, Femi Ilesanmi, Matt Saunders, Chris Dickson, Afolabi Obafemi and Sean Shields also played in the fixture and got vital minutes under their belts.
New loan signing Ade Azeez is available for the Daggers after completing a youth loan move from Charlton Athletic earlier today, and could be set for a place on the bench, while other than Luke Howell, manager Wayne Burnett has a fully fit squad to choose from for the visit of the Pools to Victoria Road later today.
Hartlepool United can include Barking-born Christian Burgess in their side, with the central defender on loan from Middlesborough, though there are doubts about Neil Austin.
The full-back picked up a toe injury in the 0-0 draw with Scunthorpe United last weekend and will be assessed by Pools boss Colin Cooper before they make a decision.
If Austin isn’t available then Jordan Richards looks set to fill the void, after returning from a three-match suspension following his sending off against Fleetwood Town.
