Dagenham & Redbridge have brought Ben Strevens back to Victoria Road on a deal to the end of the season.
Ben Strevens believes his reunion with Daggers and John Still will see him back to his best.
Strevens has initially signed until the end of the season but the club could look to extend his stay further.
The 32-year-old striker has previously played under Still at Daggers and as a youngster at Barnet and both parties believe they bring the best out of each other.
Strevens said: “He played a massive part in bringing me back, I wouldn’t be coming back if it wasn’t for John.
“He has shown faith in me throughout my career. I nearly came back a couple of times but I am happy it has been done now and I am sure if I play the way he knows I can then we will both be happy.”
Still added: “I know him so well, he knows me so well. He has played here successfully before and last time around I think we rejuvenated Strevs.
“We took him from Crawley. He helped us get in the league and he became a better player for coming here and he rekindled what we had at Barnet.”
Transfer news: Lukas Podolski believes in-demand Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski would be a perfect fit for Arsenal.
