Striker Rob Edmans has left Dagenham & Redbridge after seeing contract cancelled with the Victoria Road club.
Dagenham & Redbridge have come to an agreement with Rob Edmans to cancel the striker’s contract.
Due to the arrival of Ben Strevens and the contract signed by Gianluca Gracco, Edmans’ first-team opportunities at Victoria Road were set to be reduced even further and the two parties have come to an agreement today.
The 26-year-old has only featured once this season for the Daggers, coming on as a late substitute at Morecambe on January 7 and has also spent time out on loan at former club Chelmsford City.
Daggers paid a five figure fee for the striker in June 2011 from Chelmsford and signed a two-year contract at Victoria Road, but chances have been limited, with Edmans spending the first five months on the treatment table with a broken leg.
Transfer news: Arsene Wenger wants to add goals to his Arsenal side and has been tipped for a spending spree in the summer transfer market after they beat north London rivals Tottenham to fourth spot in the Premier League yesterday.
