Central defender Scott Doe has signed a deal which will keep him at Victoria Road until the summer of 2015.

Dagenham & Redbridge have secured the service of defender Scott Doe for another two years after he agreed to a contract extension at Victoria Road.

The 24-year-old is the longest-serving member of the current Daggers squad and has 173 appearances to his name and has had another solid season at centre back with Luke Wilkinson to date.

And news of his re-signing has delighted interim boss Wayne Burnett.

“I am delighted that Scott wants to stay and be a part of what we are doing here,” said Burnett.

“With him signing the new deal it shows the football club are keen to retain the service of our key players. Scott has had a great season so far and I am looking forward to working with him further.”
