League Two team news – Cheltenham Town v Dagenham & Redbridge.
Options will be thin on the ground for Daggers boss Wayne Burnett tomorrow as they head to Cheltenham Town.
Burnett claimed to have 17 players available for the final day trip to the Robins after news that Brentford loanee Luke Norris’ ankle injury picked up against Northampton Town will rule him out.
Afolabi Obafemi is a doubt having missed training on Thursday due to illness, but the Victoria Road chief was hopeful Ade Azeez could figure having recovered from a groin injury which has kept him out of the last two games.
Burnett has looked at his options in recent weeks with several players given the opportunity to impress.
However, over that period he feels he’s found out more about what his current squad are not capable of.
“I have looked at things over the last few weeks but I have found out more about what we can’t do,” said Burnett.
“We’ll be giving it our best shot at Cheltenham but we have only got 17 players available for the game. We’ll have to go with what we’ve got.”
Cheltenham boss Mark Yates will give an opportunity to a couple of the Robins youngsters, with Joe Hanks in particularly impressing having come off the bench in the 2-0 loss at Rochdale.
“There’s one or two kids who are going to get a chance tomorrow maybe so hopefully they will take it,” Yates told the Cheltenham Town official website. “One or two deserve a chance and they will get that tomorrow.”
Daggers lost out 2-1 in the game at Victoria Road back in October, after skipper Abu Ogogo had cancelled out Jamie Cureton’s 31st minute opener - his 250th goal in the Football League. Keith Lowe went on to score the winner for the Robins.
Burnett’s side do not have the best of records againt Yates’ charges, winning just one of eight games, and that victory came last season in a 1-0 win at Victoria Road.
