Dagenham & Redbridge’s Zavon Hines has been shortlisted for the League Two player of the month award for November following some outstanding displays.

Hines scored three times during the month, including the opener in the win against Burton Albion and the 24-year-old also scored a stunning solo goal in the away defeat to Hartlepool United as well as finding the net against Plymouth Argyle in a 2-1 away loss.

The former West Ham youngster has scored five times in 16 league appearances this season, picking up six assists along the way and this nomination rewards his impressive performance since signing for the club in August.

He faces competition though from defender Luke Prosser of Southend United, who helped his defence concede just three goals during the month and also headed an injury time winner against York City.

Ollie Banks is nominated for helping Chesterfield go through November unbeaten, where his midfield displays have been praised and the 21-year-old also scored twice in successive matches against Torquay United and Wycombe Wanderers.

Steven Schumacher is also shortlisted after he scored four times for Fleetwood Town, which included a hat-trick in a 4-1 win over Newport County and the opener against Oxford United.

The winner will be announced on Friday.
